Bermuda Golf...Tee Time With Breathtaking Views

Bermuda golf courses have very unique features of being short but cleverly challenging with firm greens and fairways due to limited irrigation. Many of Bermuda's courses were designed by world renowned designer Robert Trent Jones with his signature course being the refurbished Port Royal Golf Course home of the PGA Grand Slam held in October. This sport is best enjoyed during the months of November through March because of the cooler air temperatures as well as the increased availability of tee times. For an island of 21 sq miles their are eight eighteen hole Bermuda grass courses to choose from with each having been uniquely designed to either accommodate a more intense level of play with rolling greens and water hazards to sandy traps overlooking spectacular views of the island, one can easily be distracted. When on the courses you must adhere to the strict dress code which includes collars and sleeves on shirts and knee length shorts. Most hotels can reserve a tee time for you however for the clubs that are private you will need a member to introduce you so that you can enjoy their benefits. Otherwise you are free to make a phone call yourself to reserve you time.

Bermuda also offers a mini golf course for the family. Its quite a challenging course but offers good fun. Driving ranges are also available so that you can brush up on your swing techniques.
